Miles returns to the Ambers

By Ian Townsend

Taylor Miles is back at Cheshunt

Cheshunt fans had a new player to cheer as they drew at Canvey Island on Saturday afternon- but he had a familiar face nonetheless, midfielder Taylor Miles returning to the club.

Taylor was last seen as an Amber at the very start of last season's National League South campaign, before departing for Hayes & Yeading United- but he'll be best remembered as a promotion winner, making forty three appearances as the Ambers won promotion from our ranks in 21-22. That was his second promotion with the club, as he was also an important part of the side which won the South Central Play Offs at the end of 2018-19, and he played for the club in each of the seasons in between.

Prior to his time as an Amber Taylor was an Urchin, spending time with Hornchurch during the 18-19 season before that move to North London, after a move from Chelmsford City.

He came through the ranks at West Ham United, and also played for Concord Rangers, Braintree Town, Lincoln City, Boston United and Hemel Hempstead Town.
