Millers to travel to Notts County!

By Ian Townsend

Giant Killers have the chance of an even bigger scalp!

Aveley's reward for victory over Chelmsford City in the FA Trophy on Saturday is a trip to Notts County in the last eight. The match will be played on Saturday 29th February.

The Millers, who had already beaten Bowers & Pitsea, Taunton Town, Biggleswade Town, Carshalton Athletic and Hornchurch before knocking out City at the weekend, will be taking on a side who are having their first season outside the Football League in their one hundred and fifty seven year history. They currently sit in seventh place in the National League, and have the highest average attendance in that league at five thousand, two hundred and eighty eight. That's around five thousand more than tend to turn up at Parkside!

The rest of the draw- so you can look at the Millers possible opponents in the Semi-Final- reads as follows:

Barnet v Halesowen Town
Concord Rangers v Royston Town
AFC Fylde v Harrogate Town
