Moatsiders bring in former Huddersfield and Man Utd man

Prior to yesterday's win against Potters Bar Town, Merstham announced the arrival of attacking midfielder/winger Remi Thompson.

Remi has been an Academy player at Huddersfield Town, for who he signed in April 2018. He's the latest in a line of football talent; his dad Joe Sealey kept goal at West Ham United and his grandad was the late, lamented Les Sealey, an exceptional goalkeeper for the likes of Coventry City, Manchester United- where he won the FA Cup- Aston Villa and West Ham United.

Remi has also spent time at Manchester United, as a youth, and at Fulham. He remained on the bench for yesterday's match, but no doubt we'll be seeing him soon.
