We've a critical match in Pitching In Isthmian South Central as Merstham host Tooting & Mitcham United

With both sides delivering morale-boosting victories on Saturday, our bottom two, Merstham and Tooting & Mitcham United, meet at the worldflow Stadium tonight desperate for victory.

The Moatsiders find themselves four points from safety, albeit with games in hand over two of the the sides above them, whilst the travelling Terrors are a point further back having played the same number of matches.

Merstham have become rather difficult to beat- indeed they've lost only three of their last ten- but have struggled to turn draws into victories, and indeed have finished all square ten times this season, with only Southall drawing more matches. Tooting have struggled to get any points of late, indeed they've only got seven from the last thirty available, but looked much improved in defeating promotion-chasing Binfield at the weekend. That said, what United can do, Merstahm can do better- their victory was against third place Northwood!

When the two met back in the- rather warmer- early days of the campaign, the match ended nil-nil. Hopefully we'll get a few more goals tonight!

Kick off is at 7.45 PM.
