Jordy Mongoy is new at Billericay Town

Billericay Town announced the signing of midfielder Jordy Mongoy, prior to last night's Velocity Cup Quarter Final tie against Chatham Town- and threw him straight into the starting line up.

You might remember Jordy from his previous Isthmian periods with Lewes, Bognor Regis Town and Billericay. The last of those was on the Sussex coast, and he played for Bognor during the 20-21 and 21-22 seasons, the latter seeing him play thirty one times and score eleven goals. He was with Lewes during 2019-20, making twenty five appearances and scoring four times, and he also had short Sussex spells with Hastings United and East Grinstead Town, and a brief period with Bishop's Stortford. His first spell with Billericay was back in the 2018-19 campaign, when the Blues were in National League South.

Earlier in his career he played youth and first team football with Dagenham and Redbridge, and after he was last part of our league he spent time with Walton Casuals, Hemel Hempstead Town, Wealdstone and Farnborough, before taking his talents up to the north east, where he played for Spennymoor Town and- most recently- South Shields.
