Just prior to last night's four-nil friendly win at Whitehawk, Merstham strengthened their squad as Reyon Dillon and Chace Jacquart signed on

Merstham last night welcomed Reyon Dillon, and welcomed back Chace Jacquart.

Reyon has been plying his trade in Ireland with Cork City, although you might remember him from his time with Corinthian-Casuals, where he scored five goals in nine appearances during 2016-17 and another six in thirty during 2017-18. Prior to Casuals, the forward was with Sutton United, and has also spent time with Fulham, West Ham United, Ebbsfleet United and Oxford United as a callow youth.

Chace signed on last season without playing a match due to the pandemic, but is back once more after making fourteen appearances during the 2019-20 campaign. Previously with AFC Wimbledon, he turned out for Kingstonian in 2018-19, making nine appearances, and has also played professionally in Portugal, for Portimonense.
