Moses for the Rocks

A debut goal for striker Brian at East Thurrock United

East Thurrock United have added former Grays Athletic forward Brian Moses to their ranks- and the striker, who knows when it's raining long before the rest of us, immediately responded with what was the winning goal in their Emirates FA Cup match against Biggleswade.

We say former Grays Athletic forward on the basis he was announced as arriving at Parkside in June, but he doesn't seem to have made a first team appearance.

Brian spent some of last season with Maldon & Tiptree, scoring one goal in four appearances, and some of it at Tilbury, where he has also spent the previous two seasons. He ended it with the Dockers, his second spell of the campaign at Chadfields.

He has previously played for clubs including Waltham Forest, Grays Athletic, Redbridge and Basildon United, and had perhaps his finest hour to date with Cheshunt, scoring nine times times in their last 10 matches of the 2018-19 season to help fire them to Playoff success and promotion.
