My First XI- Sean Rudd, Potters Bar Town

Sean brings a second set of Scholars to this series

GK: Ravan Constable - FA cup heroics at Bath City and Barnet in separate seasons and a fantastic shot stopper

RB: Mustapha Dumbuya - Later went on to play professionally and it was no surprise when Doncaster Rovers came calling

CB: Steve Brown – An absolute unit at the back. Ultimately could’ve gone on to play higher but chose Chesham United instead!

CB: George Quarrington-Carter – An absolute rock at the back alongside James Budden who I also considered. So calm and composed and incredibly good for his age. Struggling with injury currently but bags of talent.

LB: Andy Lomas - Every club needs an Andy Lomas! Club man and absolutely loves the club. Engages with the fans and scored an injury time equaliser against National League Barnet to force a replay! Mr Consistent.

RM: Ashley Nathaniel-George - Scary player, skilful player who is quite rightly playing professional at Southend United. I’d pay my entry money just to watch him!

CM: Chris Doyle - another fantastic servant to Potters Bar Town. An absolute engine in midfield and again a top man which goes a long way in non-league.

CM: Lee O’Leary - Leader on the pitch and now manager off it! We even saw a cameo from him recently!

LM: Tom Pett - again another player who went on to make it as a professional. He came out of the youth section at Potters Bar so had to go in the side!

ST: Eoin Casey - Goal machine for Potters Bar! Quality player.

ST: Ben Ward-Cochrane – An absolute live wire up front and a player I genuinely believe will play higher one day if he wants to! Close between him, Michael Murray and Josh Hutchinson.
