Nelson new at Invicta

A Folkestone Invicta debut for veteran keeper Stuart Nelson

Folkestone Invicta had a number of debutants in Saturday's narrow defeat at Horsham, but there's only one of them we haven't yet told you about- and it was their new keeper, Stuart Nelson.

Stuart has a top class pedigree, making more than five hundred senior appearances at a much higher level than our own. Amongst his former clubs are Gillingham, Millwall, Brentford, Leyton Orient, Notts County, Yeovil Town, Aberdeen and Doncaster Rovers. In more recent years he has spent time with Dover Athletic, Sutton United and Dorking Wanderers.

He started his career at Cirencester Town, and most recently has been back there.
