New defender for Invicta

Toby Byron makes Folkestone Invicta debut in defeat at Carshalton

Folkestone Invicta had a new name on their teamsheet as they took on Carshalton Athletic at Colston Avenue, defender Toby Byron coming in for his debut after a move from Hornchurch.

Toby joined the Urchins in the summer, and has made seven appearances this season, the last of them against Aveley in the Cup early last month. He joined the Urchins after moving back to the UK from France, where he was playing for Union Sportive d'Ivry. Prior to that he spent some time in Greece with Ermis Meligous.

Back in the UK and prior to his move to sunnier climes, he played for Colney Heath, Hendon and Hertford Town, after being part of the youth and Under 18 setup at Luton Town.
