New in Blue

Jardel Francis-Adeyinka and Will Seager are new at Wingate & Finchley

Wingate & Finchley announced two new arrivals prior to their defeat against Folkestone Invicta- although neither were able to make a competitive debut in the match.

Midfielder Jardel Francis-Adeyinka played Under 18 football for both Fulham and Queens Park Rangers, before first appearing on the Isthmian scene with Greenwich Borough. A spell in Sweden came next, before he returned to our shores and signed for Lewes just in time for the pandemic. He managed only three appearances for the Rooks before the world came to a halt, and when football started again he was playing in Belgium. He spent some time playing for Clacton, but decided that he preferred his beach a little warmer and moved to Dubai.

Defender Will Seager first came to our attention with Leatherhead, where he made twelve appearances during 20-21, thirty three during 2019-20, thirty five during 2018-19 and four, including his debut, in 2017-18. He then headed down the A24 to Worthing, and played thirty two times as they won our Pitching In Isthmian Premier title, before moving on to Cheshunt last season.
