New signing Hippolyte makes an immediate mark

Jonathan Hippolyte scores on his Enfield Town debut

Enfield Town gave a debut to Jonathan Hippolyte on Saturday, and he made an immediate impression on the home fans, coming on from the bench with seventeen minutes left and scoring the equaliser against Dulwich Hamlet eight minutes later. It got even sweeter for the Town faithful and their debutant, as their side went on to win the match.

He was most recently with Pitching In Isthmian South Central promotion chasers Southall, but played only once after joining from Beaconsfield Town.

The forward started his career with Maidenhead United, and went on to play for Met Police, Staines Town, North Greenford United and Leatherhead prior to spending time with Chertsey Town during the stopped-almost-before-it-started 20-21 campaign. He moved on to Bracknell Town, and then spent more time at Met Police and with the Curfews, before scoring nine goals in thirteen games for Hanworth Villa last season.
