Back in August Leatherhead boss Nikki Bull stepped down due to work and personal commitments, only to be forced by changing circumstances to step up once more soon afterwards. Well last night, soon after the Tanners latest defeat- to Enfield Town- the man who had steered the club for three years departed again, this time, it seems, permanently. A club statement explained:
'Leatherhead FC have decided to part Company with their Manager, Nikki Bull.
The decision was mutually agreed this evening and we wish to thank Nikki for his hard work and dedication over the last three seasons.
A further announcement will be made in the next couple of days as to the structure going forward.
Steve Brown has also decided to step down from the Committee and again we thank him for his hard work and enthusiasm over the past year.'
Nikki had been manager at the club since May 2018. He was initially player/manager, and it was his second managerial job after his two years in charge at Margate.
The Tanners are bottom of the Pitching In isthmian Premier, and without a victory since the opening day.
