Northwood Shane

Prior to their match with Ashford Town, Northwood announced the arrival of attacking midfielder Shane Cojocarel.

Shane has played for a number of our clubs, many of them on loan during a period when he was at Barnet, first as a scholar and later as a professional. The list includes Billericay Town, a previous spell with the Woods, Met Police, Merstham and Horsham, but he really came to our attention with Maldon and Tiptree during 2018-19, where he played twenty times and scored four goals. He moved on to Cheshunt later than season, and was their Playoff Final hero as they earned promotion, scoring two of their three goals against Bracknell Town, which gave him a total of eight goals in eleven appearances for the Ambers that season.

He moved off to FC Romania during the middle of the pandemic.
