Ozzy Adeniji and Jordan Peart new at Grays

By Ian Townsend

A double signing for Grays Athletic

Grays Athletic have announced two new additions to their squad as they prepare for the 23-24 Pitching In Isthmian North campaign, with the arrivals of Ozzy Adeniji and Jordan Peart.

Defender Jordan spent time with East Thurrock United last season, where he made twenty four appearances and scored two goals. Jordan was also with the Rocks for the very short 2020-21 campaign, making eleven appearances before the season fell over. He then moved on to Bowers and Pitsea, where he played only five times, before taking a trip to Tilbury. He made twenty six appearances for the Dockers during the 21-22 season. He was previously with Barking, for three seasons, and has also turned out for Aveley.

Forward Ozzy (Usman) has previously played for the Blues, making ten appearances during the 2018-19 campaign. He moves across from Enfield, where he won promotion to our ranks at the end of last season- but has a large amount of Isthmian experience, turning out for the likes of Canvey Island, Bowers & Pitsea, Witham Town, Ashford United and Hornchurch. Amongst his other clubs are Harlow Town, FC Romania and Hanwell Town.
