Palmer to Moatside

Defender Kyrell Palmer, who made a fine debut as Merstham defeated Potters Bar Town last Saturday, has just been announced as a new signing by the club.

Kyrell came through the Academy at Leyton Orient, and does have some Non League experience courtesy of a loan spell at Saffron Walden Town. Whilst with the O's he captained the Under 18 side on occasions, and was very highly thought of by manager Lewis Spencer, but was troubled by a succession of injuries.

Here's hoping he is now fully recovered and that the Moatsiders can help bounce him back into the professional game.
