'Pay What You Want ' at the Uxbridge grand reopening

By Ian Townsend

Honeycroft reopens tomorrow with the arrival of Leatherhead- and a first look at that new pitch

Uxbridge fans will be delighted to learn that their short-term groundsharing arrangement at Slough Town is about to come to an end. The club have announced that they will be back at home and playing on their new 3G pitch when Leatherhead come to call in Pitching In Isthmian South Central on Saturday- and that, to celebrate their return home, admission will be on a 'Pay What You Want' basis.

The match, between the sides in seventh and third, kicks off at Honeycroft at 3PM. Both sides will be looking to bounce back after a period of uncertain form; the hosts are three without a win in league and county cup, whilst the Tanners have lost their last two, departing the FA Trophy at Westfield before losing their top spot with defeat against Chertsey Town in midweek.

Leatherhead were last at Honeycroft in November last year, winning two-nil. The return match at Fetcham Grove ended goalless.
