Pitching In Isthmian Supporters predictions 23-24: Southall

1. Thinking about last season, what were your highlights?

Never being outside the top half all season and beating Walton and Hersham.

2. And what was the worst moment?

The worst thing for me was the terrible amount of injuries we had. We couldn’t field the same team two games running.

3. Which member of your squad was your Player of the Season - and why?

Michael Edegbe our goalkeeper,. Mr Consistency, safe hands and confident.

4. Moving on to your current squad- which players do you think will make a big impact during the 2023-24 campaign?

Ryan Hope our captain, the heartbeat of our team and a top man. Also Dylan Kearney our new striker, he scored 17 times for Wingate and Finchley last season so I am expecting plenty more.

5. Realistically, how do you think you’ll do this season?

I honestly believe we will make the play offs at worst. Nobody outplayed us last season so we have nothing to fear.

6. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?

Thatcham Town, South Park, Met Police, Corinthian-Casuals and Chertsey Town, because I have not been to these grounds previously.

7. What is your favourite Isthmian away ground?

Marlow, lovely area, lovely ground and facilities and decent fans.

8. If you regularly travelled away, which ground served the best food?

Binfield, their moleburgers are superb and not expensive.

Leatherhead, Marlow, Southall, Hanworth Villa, Northwood
