Ramsgate Josh gets Tottenham trial

Joshua Ajayi is off to White Hart Lane

Ramsgate have confirmed that forward Joshua Ajayi has been offered a trial by Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur, and is off to White Hart Lane this week.

Josh, who prior to becoming a Ram was part of the youth setup at Crystal Palace, has been in superb form this season, so it is no surprise that professional clubs are taking notice. He has so far scored nineteen goals in only twenty four appearances, following the two goals in three matches he got last season after joining the club just before the pandemic put an end to our campaign.

Rams boss Matt Longhurst told the clubs social media team on Friday that there was "imminently" going to be a bid on the table for the player, who signed a two year contract with the Rams back in May. It has also been suggested in the media that League Two Stevenage have expressed an interest.

Listen to Matt here.

Good luck Josh!
