Benjamin Purcell new at Kingstonian

Prior to last night's match against Herne Bay, Kingstonian announced the loan arrival of Reading midfielder Benjamin Purcell.

Benjamin has played for the youth, Under 18, Under 21 and Under 23 sides at the Madejski Stadium, but this isn't his first loan move. He has already spent time with Farnborough in National League South this season, and prior to that spent some time in Pitching In Southern Premier with Hartley Wintney, where he made sixteen appearances.

He can play in midfield or at centre back, signed his first professional deal last summer, and has been with Reading since he was six years old.

Internationally, he turns out for Wales at Under 19 level, and is pictured captaining his country in a nine-two win against Gibraltar last September.
