Rio is a Blue

Bishop's Stortford last night took a break from designing a fixture template to sneak out news of a signing, with the arrival of defender (with a name like Rio, he had to be a defender) Rio Davidson-Phipps.

Rio has been plying his trade at Walton Casuals, but you might remember him best from his time at Carshalton Athletic- although fans of Pitching In Isthmian newcomers Sutton Common Rovers will also remember him, as he had a short time with them a few years ago.

He came through the Barnet Academy before becoming a Robin, and also spent some time with Whyteleafe, as well as playing for a while at Croydon. Whilst at Carshalton he spent a short time at Greenwich Borough on loan.
