Billy Roast signs on at Witham Town

Witham Town have announced the signing of defender Billy Roast.

Billy came through the ranks at Colchester United, spending time on loan with Hornchurch before coming our way permanently with- no surprises here- Maldon & Tiptree, playing twenty eight times for the Jammers during 2015-16 and fifty times as they reached the North Division Play Off Final the following year.

He then stepped up to play for Concord Rangers and spent time at Dartford before a return to the Beachboys. He played sixteen times for Coggeshall Town in the closing stages of last season as they fought for Isthmian survival, and started this season at Brentwood Town, playing ten times and scoring once.
