Robins fly through- on a night where red was a rather prominent colour

Carshalton Athletic score four in the Velocity Cup- in a match with three red cards

The last time that Carshalton Athletic met Walton & Hersham it took two matches and a penalty shootout to separate them- but last night it took only a few seconds! The Velocity Cup Fourth Round match had hardly kicked off before Femi Akinwande was firing the ball home- and the Robins number eleven had a second only eleven minutes later.

Ollie Cook got his fourth Robins goal of the campaign on twenty seven minutes to make it three, before the Swans staged a mini-revival and got one back, Maliq Morris the scorer.

On sixty two minutes a bust-up saw three players dismissed, Taurean Roberts and Palace Francis for the Swans, substitute Tom Beere- who had only been on the field for seventeen minutes- for the Robins. Unsurprisingly the ten men then showed more threat than the nine, and soon afterwards Alex Akrofi added a fourth for the home side.

The Robins fine run- only one defeat from ten matches now- continues, and they will travel to either Chatham Town or Sevenoaks Town in the Quarter Finals.
