Rogers moves from Marlow to 'stoke

Basingstoke Town give a winning debut to Marlow midfielder Anton

Basingstoke Town fans had a new number sixteen to salute as Anton Rogers came off the bench in yesterday's win over Chipstead- not that we expect he'll be number sixteen for long.

Anton has been at Marlow since the summer of 2019. He is perhaps best known for his time with Swindon Town, and has also plied his trade at Oldham Athletic and National League South side Hungerford Town, as well as spending time at Falkirk and making one appearance for Celtic where his father Brendan was the manager. He joined the Bracknell Town at the end of March 2019, ironically making his first appearance in victory over Marlow.

During the last two- interrupted- seasons he made first thirteen and then three appearances, and he has made two more this season.
