Rose back at the Terrors

Jake Rose returns to Tooting & Mitcham United

Tooting and Mitcham United last night announced the return to the club of midfielder Jake Rose- and he made his latest debut in their London Cup defeat at Dartford. He scored five goals in ten appearances during 2020-21, what there was of it, and another goal in two appearances at the start of last season.

Jake came through the youth setup at AFC Wimbledon, also being included in a number of first team squads, and after leaving the club played briefly for Dulwich Hamlet. He has also turned out for Farnborough, Merstham, Molesey, Cray Valley PM, Beckenham Town, Sheppey United and Hampton and Richmond Borough.

Where next?

Four, three, two… There’s a certain symmetry about last night’s results, with four-nil wins in the Pitching In Isthmian Premier, three-nil across the South East and two-nil throughout the North. We also had lots of Velocity Cup matches, although with no pretty stats
