Sutton Common Rovers announce Carshalton Athletic groundshare

Pitching In Isthmian South Central side Sutton Common Rovers are moving closer to home from next season, as they depart Whyteleafe for the War Memorial Sports Ground, the Colston Avenue home of Premier Division (although they still have promotion aspirations this season, so by then, who knows?!) Carshalton Athletic.

Rovers announced this move last night, by a statement which you can find below.

The club was actually based in Carshalton at its formation back in 1978, so perhaps this is something of a return home!
