Rovers sign a Docker

Great Wakering Rovers have signed midfielder Sam Carter from Tilbury, as a replacement for skipper Adalberto Pinto who had to leave the club due to work commitments. Sam has made nineteen appearances for the Dockers this season, most of them from the bench, but was a starter when the Dockers lost to Rovers back in August. He made his last Dockers appearance in the five-three victory over Canvey Island on Boxing Day, and is in line to make his first Rovers start against Dereham Town today.

He previously played for Concord Rangers.
