Seasiders sign former Yeovil and Cambridge defender

Curtis Haynes-Brown heads to Felixstowe

Felixstowe and Walton United have continued their signing spree by adding former Yeovil Town and Cambridge United defender Curtis Haynes-Brown to their ranks for the 2020-21 season.

Haynes-Brown has a fine Isthmian pedigree, as he started his career with AFC Sudbury and Lowestoft Town, before turning professional with the Glovers. Yeovil loaned him out to AFC Wimbledon and Cambridge United, and he later signed permanently at the Abbey Stadium.

Another spell at Lowestoft followed, before a move to Macclesfield Town which was hampered by a dreadful injury, after which he spent time at Maldon & Tiptree and Leiston. He has most recently been at Stanway Rovers.

Speaking to the club's social media team, Curtis explained:

"I'm delighted to have signed. I played against this great club a few times and there has always been a great atmosphere- and they are ambitious and going in the right direction. I can’t wait to get started, meet the lads and give the coming season a massive promotion push!"
