Seed Growers forward is new at Sittingbourne

Sittingbourne yesterday announced another arrival, in the shape of former Coggeshall Town forward Darnell Kithambo.

Darnell came through the Academy at Boreham Wood, making his first team debut in December 2019. He has also played for Ilford and Clapton, before moving on to sign for Leatherhead in October 2021, playing four times and almost getting lost amongst the eighty six players the Tanners used that season. He ended the previous campaign at Great Wakering Rovers, playing eighteen times and scoring on six occasions, before moving on to East Thurrock United, where he played ten times last season, and then to Tilbury, where he hit a rich vein of goals, five in ten matches.

He gave his heart to the Seed Growers last Christmas, and scored a number of important goals during the second half of the campaign, but sadly despite a goal in the relegation play off couldn't keep his side up.
