Ruben Soares-Junior is back at Billericay Town

Billericay Town have announced the return to their ranks of Folkestone Invicta forward Rúben Soares-Júnior.

Ruben has only been at Invicta for a few weeks, joining the club in mid December. He managed five appearances, the last of them coming on New Years Day at Margate.

Ruben was previously with Grays Athletic, where he made six appearances. He ended last season along the coast from Folkestone, with Margate, where he was on loan from Tonbridge Angels. He played ten times for the Blues, scoring two goals.

Prior to his time with Angels he was playing in Scotland, for Queen of the South, and also had a National League South spell at Billericay.

Ruben was previously in our ranks with Three Bridges, had an earlier spell at Grays Athletic, and he has also played for Hertford Town and Biggleswade Town.

The Blues have also announced the arrival of Tommy Davis, but we'd already given you that news.
