Former Colchester- and Billericay- striker joins Cray Wanderers

Cray Wanderers have announced the signing of former Colchester United striker Tom Stagg, and gave him a debut against Sheppey United in the Kent Cup recently.

Tom has no shortage of Pitching In Isthmian experience, recently spending time on loan with Billericay Town where he played only in a two-two draw with Bishop's Stortford- his second period with the Blues.

He played Under 18 and Under 21 football for United, but whilst with the U's spent time on loan with a succession of our clubs, including Maldon & Tiptree (naturally), Witham Town and East Thurrock United. He then had his first spell with Billericay, who were then in National League South, before two more Isthmian spells last season, with Brentwood Town and Hashtag United.

His time at Brentwood saw him play four times, and then he played three times for the Tags, scoring on his debut against Great Wakering Rovers.
