Sutton defender is a new Urchin

Jack Taylor arrives at Hornchurch on loan

Perhaps it helps to have friends at Sutton United, as defender Jack Taylor- these days managed by former Hornchurch boss Steve Morison- becomes a loan Urchin.

Jack has already had one Pitching In Isthmian loan spell this season, as he spent the first half on the season on loan at South East side Burgess Hill Town. He was a big success at Hill, playing twenty six times and scoring one goal. His final Hillians appearance was on January 13th, as his side lost four-two at leaders Ramsgate.

The centre back is a graduate of the Bexhill College Football Academy, and whilst studying went on to play Under 18 football for National League South side Eastbourne Borough before becoming part of their first team squad as they made it into the Play Offs at the end of the 21-22 season. This brought him to the attention of the folks at Gander Green Lane, and he signed for Sutton in summer 2022.
