Swifts bring in Seed Growers keeper

Jones makes a move from Coggeshall

Heybridge Swifts yesterday announced the signing of Coggeshall Town keeper Ashlee Jones- and threw him straight into the fray as they took on Cambridge City.

Jones had made twenty six appearances for the Seed Growers this season, and last season played a couple of times for the Seed Growers, and also spent time with Braintree Town and Bedford Town. He had little chance with the goal he conceded on his Swifts debut yesterday.

He started his career as a Southampton Youth, and has played for a number of Isthmian clubs, amongst them Canvey Island, Staines Town, Harlow Town, Leiston, East Thurrock United, Billericay Town, Kingstonian, Harlow and Wealdstone and Potters Bar Town- although they weren't all in our league when he was between the posts. He also played for Wycombe Wanderers, Darlington, Rushden and Diamonds and Boredom Wood.
