Leatherhead bring in striker Dave to spearhead their promotion push

Leatherhead have announced the arrival of Bracknell Town striker Dave Tarpey, as they plan to return to the Pitching In Isthmian Premier at the first attempt.

Tarpey spent last season winning promotion with Bracknell Town, and South Central Division defences won't be happy at having to face him again. Despite missing a large chunk of the season with injury, he still managed a rather incredible twenty goals in thirty appearances as the Robins cast all before them.

Priot to becoming a Robin Tarpey was in the National League with Woking, departing due to their decision to go full time. He is best known as a Maidenhead United legend, with a rather incredible ninety eight goals in one hundred and thirty eight matches. He also turned out for the likes of Barnet, Hampton and Richmond Borough and Farnborough.
