Leatherhead announce the arrival of Max Worsfold, as they prepare to host Lewes tonight

Leatherhead have announced the arrival of Slough Town winger Max Worsfold, as their attempts to escape relegation continue at home to promotion-chasing Lewes tonight.

Max was in his third season with Slough Town, and has been a great success since joining the club from Maidenhead United.

This isn't his first experience of the Pitching In Isthmian League. he was a great favourite with Staines Town fans, joining the Swans when they were still members of National League South and returning in 2016-17, when he made forty three appearances and scored twelve goals as they finished twelfth in our Premier Division. He scored another eleven times in forty two matches as they finished the following season in eighth place, four points off the Play Off's.

He was previously a youth at Aldershot Town, and has also had spells at Dorchester Town and Hayes & Yeading United.
