Leatherhead striker Dave Tarpey heads to their promotion rivals

Marlow haven't yet managed a match in November thanks to the weather, so new signing Dave Tarpey has had to wait for his debut, but hopefully might get to run out with his new teammates as his side welcome Uxbridge this evening.

Striker Dave signed for the Tanners at the start of last season, making the move after winning promotion with Bracknell Town, where he scored twenty goals in thirty appearances despite missing a large chunk of the campaign with injury. He managed eighteen goals in thirty eight appearances for the Tanners, but has only played twice more this season, spending time on loan at Hungerford Town.

Priot to becoming a Robin Tarpey was in the National League with Woking, departing due to their decision to go full time. He is best known as a Maidenhead United legend, with a rather incredible ninety eight goals in one hundred and thirty eight matches. He also turned out for the likes of Barnet, Hampton and Richmond Borough and Farnborough.
