The 3G Arena

Brentwood Town the latest to go 3G

Brentwood Town launched their 'Project 3G' last June, as they attempted to raise the finance required to lay a 3G pitch at the Brentwood Arena. The club have now announced that their efforts were successful, and the Blues will soon become the latest of our clubs to put down a 3G surface.

In a statement released this morning, they explained:

'At yesterday's Project 3G meeting, club chairman Jez Dickinson was delighted to announce the installation of a 3G pitch at the Brentwood Arena will commence on Tuesday 7th May. As well as the pitch works, improvements will also be made to the clubhouse. The works are expected to be completed by the end of July, in time for the 2024/25 campaign.

We're incredibly excited about what promises to be a new era for the football club, and we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has contributed to and supported Project 3G. We couldn't have done it without you!'

Congratulations to the club on their achievement- we look forward to seeing the new pitch in action next season.
