The Kareem of the crop

By Ian Townsend

Rahman Kareem is new at Bowers and Pitsea

Bowers and Pitsea yesterday announced the dual-registration arrival of defender Rahman Kareem from SCEFL side Faversham Town- and he was on the bench as they took on Brentwood Town at the Arena last night.

Rahman has played for the Lilywhites and for rivals Lordswood this season, making seventeen appearances for the latter, and ten for Town.

He may have made an appearance last night, but sadly the match was abandoned in the early stages of the second half so he will have to wait until his new club take on New Salamis at the Len Salmon on Saturday. At least we can have some confidence that there will be no postponement of that one!
