The Two Tanners

Leatherhead had two new names in their squad for their victory over Southall on Saturday.

Goalkeeper Mikey Allen played the entire ninety minutes after joining the Tanners on loan from Fulham. Mikey has played youth, Under 18 and Under 21 football for the Craven Cottage side, signing his first professional deal in October last year.

Defender Junior Savane was with Dulwich Hamlet last season, but also spent time on loan with Wingate & Finchley, making four appearances last autumn. He ended the campaign at East Grinstead Town, playing five times.

These weren't Junior's first Isthmian experiences, as he played three matches for Great Wakering Rovers during the 21-22 season in Pitching In Isthmian North- a win against Romford, a draw with Hashtag United and a defeat against Maldon & Tiptree.

He came through the Academy setup at Boreham Wood, and signed for Hamlet after playing for them on trial during the summer of 22.
