Striker Daniel Thompson returns to Chatham Town

Chatham Town have announced the return to the club of striker Daniel Thompson- who has already spent some time with them this season, on loan with Worthing. Daniel was on the bench as the Chats defeated promotion rivals Beckenham Town on Saturday, and earlier in the season scored three goals in nine appearances. This time, the move appears to be permanent.

Daniel ended last season at Whitehawk. He moved to the Enclosed Ground from Margate, where he made twenty one appearances last season, scoring seven goals.

Daniel spent the 2020-21 season- what there was of it- with East Grinstead Town. He nine appearances, scoring two goals. He joined from Kingstonian, and will be familiar to Pitching In Isthmian League supporters not only from his time with the aforemention clubs, but because he's also played in our league for Hampton & Richmond Borough, Bognor Regis Town, Chipstead, Burgess Hill Town and Tonbridge Angels- and has also spent time at a higher level with Braintree Town and Dulwich Hamlet.
