Melvin Minter, Harrison Carnegie and Rio Campbell debut in Boxing Day victory

Bowers and Pitsea had three debutants in their derby day win at Canvey Island on Monday, as Melvin Minter, Harrison Carnegie and Rio Campbell had the best possible starts to their Len Salmon careers.

Keeper Melvin Minter played youth football with Oxford United, Hayes & Yeading United and Brentford. He then moved to Yorkshire to play for Harrogate Town, and spent time on loan even further north, in Darlington. Chesterfield was his next port of call, before a move to Canvey and Concord Rangers. Recently he has spent time with Harlow Town.

Harrison Carnegie moves over from Faversham Town- although he wasn't a Lilywhite for long, only joining the club early last month. He was with Brightlingsea Regent in Pitching In isthmian Premier at the start of the campaign, and has also turned out for Sevenoaks Town, Sheppey United, Walthamstow and Whyteleafe, amongst others.

Rio Campbell moves across from Wingate & Finchley, where he has made seven appearances this season. The winger played youth football for Chelsea and Watford, before playing both Under 18 and Under 21 football for Swansea City.
