Three for Uxbridge

By Ian Townsend

Uxbridge bring back Kensley Maloney and Mahlondo Martin, and bring in James Gurteen

Prior to Saturday's victory at Hartley Wintney, Uxbridge announced three additions to their squad- two of whom are rather familiar to the home faithful.

Midfielder Kensley Maloney returns to the club from Walton & Hersham. He made forty appearances for the club last season prior to his departure for the Pitching In Southern Premier Swans, and was previously with Binfield, Beaconsfield Town, Harrow Borough, Bracknell Town, Slough Town, Burnham and Marlow.

Mahlondo Martin was an enormous success during his last spell at Honeycroft- indeed the winger delivered fifteen goals during the 21-22 campaign after scoring seventeen during the unfinished 19-20 campaign. He has also spent time at Hanwell Town, Dulwich Hamlet, Chalfont St Peter, Northwood, Hayes & Yeading United and Salisbury, after coming through the Academy at Watford. He's currently recovering from injury.

James Gurteen, a defender, joined Bracknell Town after a fine season for Northwood, where he made thirty six appearances as they reached the Play Off Semi-Finals last season- and indeed headed the table for much of the early weeks of the campaign. That followed twenty eight appearances during the previous season.

He played youth football for Fulham and Watford, and has also played for Southall, Aylesbury United and Kings Langley.
