Three new kids in Town

Kane Phillip, Anthony Furlonge and Chris Gregan arrive at Brentwood Town


Brentwood Town last night announced three new arrivals.

First up was Kane Phillips. The winger will be easily recognisable form his time at Herne Bay, where he made a dozen appearances last season, That was his second spell at Winch's Field, and he has also played for Sittingbourne; indeed he was with the Brickies from the latter part of the 2016-17 season up until the 2019-20 campaign. He has also spent time at Chatham Town.

Defender Anthony Furlonge moves over from new Pitching In Isthmian North side New Salamis. He played youth football with Southend United and also turned out for Stevenage, from where he had loan spells with Bishop's Stortford, Hayes & Yeading United and Tonbridge Angels. He later played for Cheshunt and Great Wakering Rovers.

Left back Chris Gregan moves down from Brightlingsea Regent, where he signed in February from Heybridge Swifts.

Chris previously played for Bishop's Stortford, and was part of the Stortford side which narrowly missed out on the Playoffs during the 2018-19 season.

He spent much of his career with Chelmsford City, and also played briefly for Harlow Town. His list of clubs also includes brief periods with Gloucester City, Frome Town and Yate Town whilst he was away from Essex studying.

As well as three players, Reece Prestedge came in from Margate as first team coach.
