Three of our top four in action- whilst first and third go head to head

By Ian Townsend

Bracknell Town and Marlow face off, whilst Uxbridge look to take advantage of any slip up. It’s our South Central preview

Unbeaten Bracknell Town host unbeaten Marlow in our Pitching In Isthmian South Central match of the day. Marlow have won every match they’ve played this season in all competitions, and have- even more remarkably- done that without conceding a single goal; whilst the Robins have won every league match since the opening day, when they drew with Hanwell Town. They did lose a match in the FA Cup though, terrible!

Second place Uxbridge, whose first defeat of the campaign came against the Robins last weekend, travel to Northwood. That one goal defeat was the first league match this season in which Anthony Mendy didn’t score, but he does have eight goals so far. Woods start the day in tenth, having become the latest club to lose to Marlow last time out- but they did wallop Staines Town five-nil in their previous match.

The Swans, who picked up their first win of the season last time out when defeating Westfield, travel to Hanwell Town. The Geordies haven’t really got going yet, and start the day in twelfth, but are only one point ahead of their opponents and don’t have a win in three matches in all competitions.

Finally, Westfield welcome Ashford Town to Woking. The Tangerines conceded seven goals to Folkestone Invicta in the cup last weekend, whilst the hosts were becoming Staines Town’s first scalp of the season and haven’t won since the opening day, so both could do with a victory.
