Thurrock John is Berlin bound!

East Thurrock United's John Guyton is pulling on his running shoes and heading to Deutschland- to run a marathon in aid of a children's cancer charity

East Thurrock United's John Guyton has his trainers on for charity once again, and he'd danke you very much if you were to contribute!

John, formerly the manager of Basildon United and the Under 23 side at Bowers & Pitsea, and more recently Director of Football at Brentwood Town, is now part of the coaching team at East Thurrock United- but one thing that hasn't changed is his passion for running, and his wish to raise money whilst he does it.

John recently completed the London Marathon in aid of the charity Children with Cancer UK, and now he's boarding a plane and heading to the land of Jurgen Klopp and Daniel Farke, where he plans to run the Berlin Marathon. He's hoping to raise another one thousand pounds for the charity, which does magnificent work researching cures for childhood cancer and helping those who suffer from the disease, and their families.

We'd like to wish him the best of luck- and also to give you the chance to put your hand in your pocket to support his efforts. If you head to his Just Giving page- HERE- you can add to the total, and we're sure that both John and the charity will be enormously grateful.
