Transfer deadline Day: Aveley

By Ian Townsend

Saleem Akanbi and Hani Berchiche are new with Aveley

Saleem Akanbi came in on loan from Cambridge United, and played- briefly, before needing to be substituted himself- in the draw with Brightlingsea Regent on Saturday. The winger signed his first professional deal with United last summer, after playing for the club's youth sides since the age of eight. This is his third loan spell of the campaign, having already spent time with St Neots Town and Concord Rangers.

Hani Berchiche was last with Harrow Borough, and has already played in our top flight for Bognor Regis Town this season. Hani started this season with Harlow Town in the Pitching In Southern League. Prior to that he was in the same league with FC Romania, and was last with us last season, when he turned out for Wingate and Finchley.

He was previously with Billericay Town, Concord Rangers, Met Police and Chalfont St Peter.
