Two more Moatsiders

By Ian Townsend

Merstham add Dickson and Haire

Since we brought you Merstham signing news yesterday, they've deliberately tried to catch us out by adding two more. It's desperately inconsiderate of them, but we're going to bring you news of the latest duo anyway rather than sulking or complaining loudly here!

Signing number one was defender Jack Haire, who came in from Balham of the Southern Counties East Premier. Jack will undoubtedly be delighted to step up two levels, and also because he won't have to spend forty five minutes each Saturday afternoon staring directly at Croydon Crematorium. The views from Moatside are significantly better! Jack came up through the age groups at Balham, and has been a big part of the increasingly successful club for a number of years, only interrupted by his studies at Bristol University.

Midfielder James Dickson comes in on loan from Dorking Wanderers. James is highly rated at Wanderers having come up through their age groups to become part of the first team squad. He spent some time on loan at Chipstead last season, making ten appearances and scoring twice- in he win at Uxbridge and the draw at Waltham Abbey.
