Two National League loans for Heath

James Dickson and Callum Chesworth sign on for Haywards Heath Town

Haywards Heath Town yesterday announced the loan arrivals of James Dickson and Callum Chesworth.

James comes in from National League side Dorking Wanderers. The midfielder is highly thought of at Wanderers having come up through their age groups to become part of the first team squad. He spent some time on loan at Chipstead during the 2020-21 season, making ten appearances and scoring twice- and started last season in the Pitching In Isthmian premier with Merstham, making three appearances. He then moved over to South Park, and played twenty eight times, scoring three goals.

Callum travels up the A23 from our Premier Division champions, Worthing, who are just starting their first National League South campaign. He spent last season with Three Bridges, and played twenty nine times, including the six-one defeat against his new club last October. A former Chelsea Academy player who has also spent time with Horsham YMCA and had a trial at Ipswich Town recently, we didn't even notice he'd signed for Worthing, so Heath's announcement yesterday taught us something new!
