Vase winning keeper new in Town

Enfield Town bring in goalkeeper Rhys Forster

The last time we saw Rhys Forster he was waving a large silver pot in the air, but the next time we see him he will be wearing the number one shirt at Enfield Town.

Rhys has just finished a loan spell with Ascot United, and was in goal at Wembley as the Yellas defeated Newport Pagnell to pick up the FA Vase recently. He isn't entirely new to the Pitching In Isthmian League, as a few years ago he was a Tangerine, making four appearances for Ashford Town during the 2018-19 campaign.

Since then, however, he has spent some time at a higher level, with the likes of Maidenhead United, Hampton & Richmond Borough and- most recently- Slough Town. He previously worked with his new boss Gavin Macpherson whilst at Metropolitan Police, and has also spent time with the- now sadly defunct- Walton Casuals.
