Walker for Whitehawk

Striker Charlie Walker makes a move to the Enclosed Ground

Whitehawk have announced an agreement to sign Eastbourne Borough striker Charlie Walker.

Charlie actually spent as little time with the Hawks a decade ago, before he first joined his new manager, Shaun Saunders, at Peacehaven & Telscombe- scoring like wildfire as his side took an Isthmian South and Sussex Senior Cup double, form which earned him a move to Luton Town.

His season with the Hatters included a loan spell at Boreham Wood, and after leaving Kenilworth Road he went on to play for Aldershot Town and St Albans City. He returned to the Sussex coast with Eastbourne Borough in 2018, and has become something of a fan favourite at Sports, but with the National League South side under new ownership has been allowed to move on.

If he's half as good in his next Isthmian season as he was in his last one, Premier defences have lots to worry about!
